With hundreds of distance and online learning portals active today, student safety and credential validity must come first. The University Grants Commission (Distance Education Bureau) enforces strict quality mandates that every authentic institution must fulfill.
Checklist for University Verification
- Verify university status on the official UGC-DEB portal (deb.ugc.ac.in).
- Check current NAAC grading (minimum NAAC score of 3.26 or top 100 NIRF category rank required for Category-1 institutions).
- Confirm that your specific program (e.g. MBA, MCA) is listed under the university's approved online offerings for the current academic session.
At Study Now, every single university and course showcased on our platform undergoes rigorous 3-tier regulatory verification before listing.
